Our Philosophy

The best ideas often emerge when different worlds meet. Each dinner gathering begins with one universal question presented by the First Voice - someone who opens the evening with an idea, a discovery in their field, or a perspective. From there, the conversation belongs to everyone. 

We believe curiosity is contagious. That meaningful conversations happen when people listen as generously as they speak. And that some of life's most interesting insights emerge when people from different walks of life explore one universal question together. 

The 8th Seat is an invitation to slow down, share a meal, rediscover a sense of awe for what we currently understand about the world and what remains a mystery still, and leave seeing everything a bit differently.
